LEXM: The Circular Economy with Dylan Lamb
September 19 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm$20
‘Estimates suggest that the global population will reach close to 9 billion by 2030 – including 3 billion new middle-class consumers. This places unprecedented pressure on natural resources to meet future consumer demand. The circular economy is a redesign of this future, where industrial systems are restorative and regenerative by intention.’ (World Economic Forum)
Join us at the Planet Zero edition of LEXM as we explore the principles and building blocks of the circular economy in conversation with Dylan Lamb. Dylan is Co-founder and Systemic Designer at Holonic, a consultancy helping to catalyse the Circular Economy in WA. A Civil Engineer by trade with international experience in the USA, Dylan is passionate about design thinking and innovation for positive social and environmental impact and catalysing the transition from a linear to a circular economy in Australia.
Planet Zero LEXM is a collaboration between Maker + Co and the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is supported by the South West Development Commission and ECU. Thanks to the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, we will also be joined by Maker + Co experts in residence: Kylie Hansen from Impact Seed; Ron Bradfield from Yarns R Us; Multimedia artist Sohan Ariel Hayes and Chad Creighton from the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub of WA.
