Indigenous Eco Cruise – New Date

01/06/2017 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

This is an opportunity for you to be a tourist in your own backyard and experience one of the key products we offer to visitors to our region.
Relax and enjoy the beauty of Koombana Bay.  Escorting you on the cruise will be local Noongar man; Troy Bennell, whose dreamtime stories are captivating. Learn the stories of the Bay and the River dating back hundreds of years.  Enjoy some sounds of the Didgeridoo and along the way see many and varied bird life, dolphins and stunning scenery.  Troy will introduce you to the land on shore from 3.30pm and then board the boat at 4.00pm for an hour and a half of cruising with dreamtime stories.

The vessel is a sturdy flat bottom boat that will allow you to move around and see all sides.

Please make sure you have a jacket as it can still get chilly at this time of year.

Please note weather conditions may impact the tour.

This Indigenous Eco Cruise is being hosted by Working Together South West* and the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

*Delivered by Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Department of Training and Workforce Development. Made possible by the State Government’s Royalties for Regions program’.
