Marina is currently the Secretary of the Bunbury Basketball Assoc. Inc. Board and she has held that role for the past 8 years, having been a member of the Board since October 2012.
She is focused on strategically directing Bunbury Basketball Assoc., maintaining a culture throughout the organisation that is collaborative in its approach and understanding of the needs and expectations of its members, participants and broader community.

- 2016 State Election, $4 million toward improvements at Hay Park which include $300,00 toward drain improvements and $2 million toward lighting towers.
- 2021 State Election,, $12 million toward the expansion of the South West Sports Centre
- Successfully lobbied the City of Bunbury Council to form the South West Sports Centre User Reference Group
