The Equal Opportunity Commission is hosting free sessions to assist business owners, employers and employees to learn about their rights
Bunbury Geographe CCI is hosting the Equal Opportunity Commission on Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th March to assist small business owners, employers and employees to learn about their rights & responsibilites.
The EOC will be hosting three sessions over the two days, tailoring the content for different groups. All workshops are free, and we encourage you to share with your team.
Session One for employees of small businesses
Monday 25th March, 4:30 - 6:30pm

Learn about your rights as an employee, ways to respond to bullying, harassment and discrimination, how to access more information about these topics and how the EOC can help you.

Session Two for employers and/or operators of small businesses
Tuesday 26th March, 7:30 - 8:30am

Learn about your responsibilities as an employer and when you are liable, new legislation and how it impacts you. Find out what resources are out there to support you, and an opportunity to discuss current issues you are facing and ask us questions.

A session targeted at HR officers and professionals, reviewing the trainings we offer at the Equal Opportunity Commission around topics such as sexual harassment, workplace culture and equal opportunity law. We will provide information on recent legislation that impacts your workplaces directly, and get a checklist to bring back to your organisation.
