October is Safe Work Month - "WHS – think physical, think psychological" - a reminder that under the Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws psychosocial is as important as physical.
Psychosocial hazards are present is most workforces, and are just as prevalent as physical ones. Work related mental health conditions and psychological injuries cost companies more than physical injuries and illnesses as they usually have longer recovery times, higher medical costs and require more time away from work to facilitate the recovery process.
Hosted by Niomi Hurley, she will take you through identifying psychosocial hazards, what they are, why they should be managed and how to address them in order to keep your employees safe.
