Cleo is an accomplished operations and maintenance leader with more than 20 years of experience driving performance across manufacturing, mining, resource processing, and aviation industries. She has built a reputation for leading complex operations, developing high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable improvements in safety, reliability, productivity, and financial performance.
Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Laminex Dardanup, Cleo leads the site's engineering, asset management, site services, and capital improvement functions. She is responsible for engineering strategy, asset reliability, operational risk management, contractor governance, project delivery, and long-term asset planning, while working closely with operational teams to support safe and efficient manufacturing performance.
Prior to joining Laminex, Cleo was Operations Manager at Albemarle's Kemerton Lithium Refinery, where she led more than 230 employees and contractors in the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of one of Australia's largest lithium processing facilities.
Earlier, she held senior leadership positions with BHP Western Australia Iron Ore, including Manager Processing Production and Manager Fixed Plant, with accountability for large-scale production, maintenance, safety, and workforce capability across complex mining operations
Cleo's leadership career also includes senior management roles with Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, Skywest Airlines, and Aviation Australia, where she developed extensive expertise in maintenance, engineering, regulatory compliance, organisational transformation, and workforce development.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and commitment to continuous improvement, Cleo has successfully led major transformation initiatives, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and built inclusive, safety-focused cultures that consistently deliver strong operational outcomes.
