The Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) celebrated the region’s top businesses at the 2025 Bunbury Geographe Business Excellence Awards on Saturday night.
200 guests attended the “night of nights” for local business, which recognised excellence across a range of categories, from owner operators and startups to large enterprises.
Now in its second year, the program continues to grow in prestige, attracting more than 70 entries in 2025. BGCCI Chief Executive Officer Sean McKeown said the Chamber plans to introduce storytelling behind each winner and highly commended recipient, to share lessons on what drives excellence.
“We look forward to showcasing our winners stories, and how they achieved excellence in their fields” Mr McKeown said. “We want to share insights from our business leaders with the wider community, so others can learn from their journey.”
Award categories ranged from Emerging Business, Leading with Innovation, and Excellence in Environmental Sustainability to Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality. Standard business categories were also judged according to size, based on the number of full-time employees.
